Located beside Alloway Creek is
WALBON ACRES.
The 5 barns, large indoor arena and stone farmhouse (built in the 1790's
-oldest home in Adams County) face each other across a gravel courtyard.
The 18 acres is only a few miles from Gettysburg Civil War Battlefields
outside of Littlestown, Pennsylvania in
some of the oldest Standardbred Horse country in America.
Walter and I moved here 14 years ago and
started WALBON ACRES.

WALBON ACRES is a small farm
striving to breed the best quality Miniature
horses. We breed horses for top quality
conformation, emphasizing refinement and
beautiful Arabian type heads. We also strive for
athletic ability for driving and performance. We
have horses for sale and our own herd sire; HSF
Hilltops Whipporwill is standing at stud to
approved mares.
We also have Arabians, half Arabians, Hackeys &
registered Pintos. Our horses are registered
AMHA, AMHR, WCMHA, Pinto, Arabia, and Half
Arabian. |
We have bred Minis and Arabians
and shown successfully for years all the way to the
National Level with limited showing. We still breed and
show miniatures but we have slowed down a lot. We mostly
now show at the local shows and are cutting back on our
herd of Miniatures.
